While working on my very first video essay on Nietzsche’s Birth of Tragedy (a topic which I have discussed in this blog before here and here), I began experimenting with various effects and images. I particularly enjoyed playing around with Apollo from Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini’s painting Apollo (1718) which is now in Maurithuis museum.
